Byron Poore - tenor

Byron has been involved in music since very early in his childhood when his dad used to take him to nursing homes and sit him on top of the piano where together they would entertain the residents for hours at a time. He joined the Barbershop Harmony Society when he was 14 years old and was invited to join his first quartet at the age of 16. His love and appreciation for a cappella music and harmony grew and he joined a professional group of vocalists at The Acappella Company in 1998. While with Acappella, he sang with various groups including southern gospel favorite, VOCAL UNION. Byron currently serves as Assistant Director for the Tampa Heralds of Harmony and holds the Director of Chorus Director Development leadership role within the Sunshine District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Byron is a Financial Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He resides just outside Tampa, FL with his beautiful wife Jennifer, daughter Selah, and Toy Poodle Prince Charming.
