Bill Billings - baritone

Bill grew up in a barbershop household with his dad joining the Society when he was a year old. Even though it’s been a very long time, Bill can still remember seeing the Buffalo Bills and Confederates (and others) singing on the St. Petersburg, FL chapter shows. He began singing barbershop when his junior high school music teacher asked his dad if he would coach a quartet of her students if she found 3 others to sing with little Billy (awe, isn’t he cute!). That start has lead to many years of quartet singing. Bill has won 3 Sunshine District Championships and is an International Bronze Medalist with both Sidekicks (1989) and Backbeat (1995). Basically that makes him a has-been. Bill is the current president of the Sunshine District.

Bill is officially the eldest member of the quartet. Bill and his wife Cathie have been married for 20-plus years and have 6 grown children (phew!) and 2 grandchildren. Between the two it makes for a real-life Brady bunch. Bill still lives in St. Petersburg, FL and works for SunTrust.
